Ian McIntosh

Ian in known for his strong, aggressive style, but he stands out among his Big Mountain skiing peers for another reason...he's 6'2" tall, weighs 185 pounds, and has bright red hair. Mac's ski career began as a teenager when he moved from Invermere to Whistler, BC. Shortly after that, he began competing in and winning Big Mountain competitions on the Freeskiing World Tour and North American Freeskiing Tour. In 2005, Teton Gravity Research invited him to film with them in Jackson, WY. Mac scored the opening segment in TGR's 2006 film, Anomaly, and he's been a fixture in their films ever since. He spent last season exploring new descents and filming in Petersburg, Alaska. Look for him this Fall in TGR's 2010 release, Light The Wick. In the Summer, Ian can be found mountain biking or jumping out of airplanes. He lives in Pemberton, BC, with his wife Alexandria.
